“I absolutely love educating and inspiring others to find their flow state through mountain biking! Whether I’m sending it down a gnarly double-black, or coasting through a groomed green (both are awesome), nothing quite compares to the feeling of full-intentioned, energized riding.”

Jane is a Fluidride coach and customer service team member who brings her passion for community, teaching, and mountain biking to everything she does. She joined the Fluidride coaching team in 2021 and has since empowered countless riders with her fun, approachable energy (and the occasional batch of cookies). Jane believes that through proper instruction, anyone can gain the confidence and skill necessary to make mountain biking a self-sustaining, lifelong pursuit.

As a mother to a toddler and a five-year-old, Jane understands the importance of patience, adaptability, and showing up with heart. Her personal experience has deepened her appreciation for passion, self-motivation, and the power of community—values she brings to every coaching session and rider interaction.

Jane has a strong background in advocating for women in the sport. She’s ridden with and educated a wide range of women riders, served as a club captain for a women’s MTB club in Utah, and helped many riders reach new levels of skill and confidence. She especially enjoys working with women who are new to mountain biking or ready to take their riding to the next level.

Jane’s journey includes coaching a high school team, organizing community events, and competing in both enduro and cross-country races. With a BA in history education and several years of experience teaching high school history before returning to her home state of Washington in 2018, Jane blends her education background with her MTB expertise to create thoughtful, confidence-building instruction.

And yes—it’s true: Jane biked through pregnancy and even on her due date. If there’s any doubt about her obsession with mountain biking, just ask.
